A corner room on the second floor with a single bed, the Allisonia Room has the cozy feel of a writer’s retreat. Enjoy mountain views from your room, or from the porch just a step outside the door. A tub and shower are included in the bathroom.
Allisonia – The Allisonia Mining District included the Boom and the Radford Furnaces, which supported the towns of Allisonia and Hiwassee. The towns declined drastically after the furnaces were shut down, but small communities remain. The train depot and foreman’s residence in Allisonia are still standing.
